The best time for viewing the plum blossoms is from late January to late February.
Around 8,500 ume plum trees, largely of the Nankō-ume variety, are found in this 41-hectare (101-acre) park. A spot where visitors can enjoy gazing at the blossoms as they stroll along at a leisurely pace.
