The observation tower standing at the top of Mt. Base commands an incredible view of the beautiful Uwa Sea and the surrounding verdant mountains of the Ashizuri-Uwakai National Park. It features a 360° rotating observation room ascending to its highest point at 107m above the ground, 260m above sea level. Views stretching as far as the distant mountains of Kyushu can be seen on fine days. Enjoy the scenic mountain surroundings and the calming beauty of the Uwa Sea from the observatory.
