Meet the smallest horses in Japan - locally bred in Ehime
Nomauma Highland is home to the local breed of Nomauma ponies, the smallest horses in Japan. The farm is also surrounded by some incredible natural beauty. Guests can get up close to the horses, measuring just 120cm, in their three well-maintained ranges. Children can enjoy horse riding in their 100m ring. The farm shop “Makiba Kan” offers original products and snacks, along with a learning space where you can discover the local culture and history through the stories of these little horses.
